The view as I look down the path on the cliff of Sainte Barbe, overlooking the bay of Saint Jean de Luz. I have followed this path down to the town center for decades, and have seen it slowly eroded by the winter storm, to the point where it barely exists now. The reef is amazingly flat, explaining why we get such good surf around here on the good days. Ink and watercolor on 10″ x 14″ Arches paper.
